How to help Hank[]

On Horseshoe Beach, where Riley plays "hot and cold" with someone on line 2, there is a shoe inside the cave. Interacting with it triggers a scene with Rex on the beach. The player can return to take the shoe with them even before talking to Hank.

On Garland, Riley must use the EMF transmitters to change the year the tear will take her to. The one next to the tear changes the century, and the one up the ladder changes the decade. The year to help Hank is 1930. When Riley and Jacob enter the tear, there should be a man sitting outside the building. By interacting with him, Riley can get Jacob to take a photo.

After exiting the tear, Riley can contact Hank to tell him about their sighting. He will say he wishes he had more concrete evidence at this point. If Riley took the shoe at Horseshoe Beach, she can tell him about it - if not, the player has to take it to continue Hank's sidequest. He will ask Riley to leave the shoe in a safety deposit box back in the Post Office.

Talking to Hank a final time will make him introduce his wife, Cynthia. She will ask Riley if she is interested in He will be grateful, and the achievement will pop up.
